At the annual meeting of the Licensing Committee ito-day all tho licenses except one (on tho ground of not being kept up to the required standard) wore granted. In the case of tho Duke of Edinburgh and Wellington Hotels, the police reported that the premises were frequented and used by bookmakers. These reports, however, wore not put in as objections. " '
