MURDER OF MISS DAY
NO MOTIVE.

There was no motive for tho North Sydney crime. Miss Day, whoso ago was 40, had lived with tho Drysdales for yoars, and had been treated as one of tho family. Sho i was on the best terms with her slayer, who, a year ago, attempted to commit' suicide. Since then he had devoted almost the whole of his time to the study of religious questions. Drysdalo declared that the crime- was tho will of God.
Drysdale is in a precarious condition.
