Qoor&vs Carpohtior knocked otit Bombadier Wells in the fourth round at Ghent. Wells had tho best of ilio first two rounds, but he did not follow up his advantage
Carpenter was dazed in tho first round by -a. half arm punch. Weirs missed a similar chance in the.second round. "Wells weakened in tho third round, when his punches lost their sting. In the fourth round Carpentior hit Wells on the mouth, followed with right and left punches to the stpmach, and. then knocked him out. Fivo thousand spectators wore present.
