A CURIOUS SITUATION.
Madrid, June 2.
The political crash was duo to the refusal of Senor Maura, leader of tß.e Conservative Party, and the Conservatives to act as the Opposition.
King Alfonso conferred with Senor Maura, who reiterated his refusal to alternate with the Liberals as tho Government.
