GENERAL HOLIDAY TO-MOBHOW

To-morrow (being tho King's _ Birthday) will bo observed as a public holiday. . ~ii ii The chief attraction will be the hockey and footbali tournament by the combined amsiteur clubs of Nelson at the Botanical Reserve. Matches will commence in the morning at 9.30 and will continue until noon, recommencing at 1.30 and continuing until 5 p.m. The promise of exciting matches m both branches of sport should attract a large attendance of the public. A parade of Territorials and Cadets will be hold at the Drill Shed at 9 a.m.
