Tho Dominion Meteorologist's summary and- forecast, as from 5 p.m. to<day, are as follows— The uoather i;a-s been cold and showery in riMv=t iKirts of tho Dominion, with strong i;:' li iici'l\- windß prevailing, and gales at times on the rast coast of the South Inland. Ilia barometer has risen unsteadily. Present indications are for strong south-easterly winds prevailing, with cold and changeable weather, showery at times on the ■east coast districts. Tho barometer has a rising tendency everywhere.
