"BEHIND THE MASK."

The management announce a special attraction for to-night—a remarkable dramatic photoplay, some 3,000 feet in length, entitled "lidiind the Mask," featuring that popular European,artist Mdme. Saharet. It is a fascinating lov<6 story, portraying the efforts of a devoted girl to save her sister from the clutchos of an unscrupukms adventurer. The leading parts are acted by famous artists, and the play introduces artistic dancing, and is set among delightful scenery. Tho story relates how Edgar Allan, spendthrift, after being practically engaged to Ellen Smith, transfers his love to the latter's older sister, because- the lister is in possession of considerable wealth. Ethel schemes to open her sister's __ eyes. With that end in view, she makes inquiries as to Allan's real position, and finds that ho is living far beyond his means, is anything but a true lover, and is in the habit of frequenting Maxim's dancing hall. Having a natural talent for dancing, Ellen enters on the stage, dances "Behind tho Mask" and fascinates her sister's lover. On the night of her sister's betrothal a young masked dancer appears, and causes embarrassment to Allan. Unmasking, slic produces proof of his perfidy, and tho sister is saved from a life of misery.
