Hastings, May 14

Thomas Batchdor, married; 55 years of age, a gardener at Olrig station, committed suicide yesterday by cutting his throat. Deceased told the manager of thd station that he was going to leaivo, and asked for his cheque. Iho manager later found Batchelor dead, with a razor in his hand. Deceased had been drinking.
