Blenheim, May 14. In connection with the acquisition of tho Hillesden estato, it isystimatod that tho estate will provide holdings toi about 30 settlors. A considerable 'proportion of the country is mountainous, and not capable of carryiug many sheep, it i s stated that about 12,000 acres are cultivable land. The rffioial intimation has not yet boen received by tho Commissioner, but ho stated that a® soon as officially informed arrangements will bo made immediately for the subdivision ready for settlers to take up holdings when the present occupiers go out, presumably by March Ist next.
