OPENING OF THE SEASON;

Everything points Sor a most successful opening day to be hold .next- Satirrday afternoon at the: Botanical Eesorve. There will he a senior six-a-side men's tournament, running, .and relay races for men dhd ladies. 'The ladies races alene should attract a large number as some of the fastest sprinters in Nelson have entered. The Garrison Band will be in attendance and will play select music, and a- tea kiosk will bo on the ground, and will be controlled by the ladies' clubs. The first event will start at 2.30.
