PREMIER'S SECOND DUEL.

On Bth January the Hungarian Plremier, Count Stephen Tisza, fought another duel with swords, this timo with Count Aladar Szechenyi, a member of the Opposition in the Hungarian Diet.

A week before, it will be recalled, the Premier fought a sword duel of thirty-' two rounds with Count Michael Kaholyi, another member of the Opposition, who was very seriously injured. That affray arose out of a quatrrel at the Nobles Club, following Count Tisza's successful effort to break down the obstructionist tactics of the Opposition.

The second duel was the outcome of a letter written by Count Szechenyi to the Premier, saying that he had, by an error, owing to the darkness, recently shaken the Premier's hand on entering the Nobles Club. He would not have done so had he recognised him.

Count Tisza challenged Count Szechenyi to the duel, and the combatants to fight to disability. At the first assault Count Szechenyi (received a fierce blow on the head, upon which the doctors and seconds declared the" duel finished.
