THE VICE-PRESIDENT ARRESTED
FIGHTING SUSPENDED.
Mexico City, Feb. 19
General Diaz executed Gustav Madero, brother of'the deposed President.
' Diaz agreed to hold Madero prisoner in the Palace while General Hiierta took office as Provisional President.
Fighting ceased after Madero's arrest.
Foux de joie resounded through the streets during the entire night.
Vice-President Suarez has been ar-z-ested, and is closely guarded.
Ministers of the late Cabinet have been released on parole.
