Sydney, Feb. 19,

Before the Wages Board Inquiry witnesses gave evidence that since 1910 the ~»eni of houses had advanced 20 per cent., and the price of groceries 15 per •cent. Thero was also a great increase an the cost of clothing. All witnesses attributed the increase to the greater cost of labour, the result of the Wages Board awards.
