Monzies, several presentations, 0110 on hehalf of Victory lodge and oii.q each from Victory and Trafalgar Chapters. JU. Wor. Bro. W. Mo.yes and Wor. Bros. S. F. Boltoji and R. W. Stiles made tho presentations, the recipient being congratulated on his'..promotion,'but-much regret expressed at his approaching departure for Napier. Wor Bro. Men-zie-s has been secretary of Victory Lodge for the past few years, and has been exceedingly active and enthusiastic in ths cause of Ereeninsorii-y in Nelson, and hais^mode him.wl'f very popular, by reason or his untiring energy and pleasant manner. At .t,iu> conclusion of the lodge meeting the health of.Bro. Menzie-s and family wais drunk enthii-siastically, nmny brethren contributiiig their quota ■of praise-. Bro. Mr. Houlkor then, on behalf of the club, presented Mr.-Monzie-s with a suit case bearing an inscription stating the occasion of the^presentati-on.
