In order to give residents of Richmond an opportunity of witnessing a performance of "Get Rich Quick Wallingford" tho J. C. Williamson Ltd. management liave made arrangements with the Railway Department to run a special late train which will leaves Nelsoti for Richmond at eleven o'clock on Friday night next.
On Now Year's Eve a party of young men left Nelson in a motor launch with •the object of spending' the holidays at Collingwodd. In the Bay the engine broke down, and the launch drifted helplessly until last night, when it was sighted by the Koi, and the occupants wore succoured and brought to-Nelson. On her outward journey the Koi saw the launch, but concluded that the party were fishingl The real'state of affairs was realised when ;the launch was observed at about the same spot wihen the stoamer was returning several hours later, and distress signals were also noticed. The occupants'of the little vessel were none the worse for their experience- beyond being rather hungry, their provisions 'having'given out.
