Some consternation was caused in Bridge .street a few days ago, the number of people, expresses; and other vehicles in front of Lock's furnishing emporium leading many to suppose that si\ accident liad happened. On inquiry, however, it was found to bo only, a. few cartloads of stylish and up-to-date i'urnituro going out to furnish some happy homos. The scene being of frequent occurrence, caused no alarm to those in the immediate neighbourhood.
