AVOID OPERATIONS.
Extract from London "Medical Magazine for . May, 1910:—' 'These ferments obtained, from the papaw, are made up in the form of an ointment and gargle, and are recommended as an application to enlarged glandular tissues, tumours, and ulcerations. The present preparation seems to combine the most active ferments of the plant m a successful manner. Its activity sas demonstrated by "floral cases of hypertrophy of the turbiiMjl bodies, and in cases of enlarged tonsils. After, three or four weeks' application there was very, very - marked improvement. There can be no doubt that the preparation is unusually effective, and should prove very serviceable, obviating the necessity for operative procedures in many cases. Such operative procedures are often adopted much too hastily. The present ferments ar© well deserving of a trial, and in many cases we have no doubt the result will be satisfactory." Papaw Ointment, Is 6d (for ulcers, tumours, goitre, and poisoned wounds); Papaw Papayate, 2s 6d (for nasal catarrh); Papaw Uonic, 2s 6d; Papaw Pile Cure, 2s 6d. "Wholesale; J. H. Cock and Co., Ltd,
