j 1. _Nos. 1 and 4 are_ open for competition amongst district horses only, by which term is meant a horse that , has been running in the district for ! three months prior to the races, and , has been the bona fide property of a resident for the same period from the . 26th September, 1912, to 26tb Decem- . ber, 1912. I 2. The district shall comprise the Buller Basin from its source to Rocklands Farm and the The Landing; and the Motueka River Basin from its source to the junction of the Wangapeka and Motueka Rivers. | 3. All nominations and acceptances must be addressed to the Secretary and contain full amount of entrance money with name, age, colour, pedigree (if any), and performances of all horses, and colours of the jockey. (This rule will be strictly enforced.) 4. Nominations for 2, 3, 4, and 5 close at 8 p.m. on Friday, November Ist. 5. Weights declared on Tuesday November 12th, 1912. 6. Acceptances for 2, 3, 4 and 5 close at 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 7th. 7. Entries for No. 1 will close at 8 p.m. on Saturday December 7th, 1912. 8. The winner of the Buller Cup to carry 71bs. penalty in the Braeburn Handicap. 9. No dogs allowed on the course. 10. All races to bo run under the N.Z. Rules of Racing adopted by the Metropolitan Clubs of New Zaland. A Member's _ Ticket of £1 admits member, his wife and family to course and ball. The usual Race Ball conducted by the Club will be held in Fisher's Hall in the evening. T. G. BENNITT, Secretary.
