AVOID OPERAHONS. Extract from London "Medica^ Magazine" for May, 1910:—"Those ferments obtained frotr the papaw, are made up in the form of an ointment and gargle, and aro recommended as an application ito enlarged glandular tissues, tumours and ulcerations. The present preparation seems to combine the most active ferments of the plant in a successful manner. Its activity vas demonstrated by -«sveral cases of hypertrophy,of the turbtyal bodies, and in. cases of enlarged tonsils. After three or four weeks' application there was very, very marked improvement. There can be no doubt that the prepare ation is unusually effective, and should prove very serviceable, obviating the necessity for operative procedures in many cases. Such operative procedures are often adopted much too hastily. The present ferments are woll deserving of a trial, and ia many cases we have no doubt the result will be satisfactory." Papaw Ointment, 1/6 (for ulcers, tumours, goitre, and poisoned' wounds) ; Papaw Papayate, 2/6 (for nasal catarrh); Papaw Tonic, .2/6; Papaw Pile Cure, 2s. 6d.. Wholesale: J. H. Cock & Co., Lt-i
