Dunedin, July 28. A new agreement lias been arrived at between, the- ivaitangata Miners' Union, registered under the Arbitration Act, and. the ivaitangata Company. The agreement shows that the latter were? willing to givo the workers a "square deal," and it has been reccued at' Ivaitangata with general satisfaction. lh< hewing rate is iixed at 2s 3d a ton, an increase of 3d.
