Tho Biackwator. the Progress and the Consolidated Goldfields Companies applied at tho Warden's Court for a rehearing on the ground that the Warden's deoesion, with conditions compelling reference to the Arbitration Court, was beyond his jurisdiction. Tho Warden stated that he was asked to decide .an appeal from himself in a. previous judgment which had been drawn up with the assent and advice of the companies' solicitor. "If they wont to upset tho judgment," ho said, "let them appeal." Tlio rehearing was re•fused. ' ■ ''
