■ Valenca was lightly treated, but small bodies of Royalists are reported in many places.

Concoiro, with 400 men is in the vicinity of Montalogro whither troops have been sent. Reinforcements are also proceeding to Oporto.

The Royalists unsuccessfully attempted to blow up tho Caimnha railway

bridge.
