Lamb: Canterbury, 7d; other than Canterbury, 6-^l. Beef: New Zealand hinds, 4£d; fores
3fd. Butter: The, market is steady. Choicest New Zealand butter to-day makes llos; Australian, 108a; Argentine, tO8s; Danish 1245; Siberian 110s. Cheese: The market is quiet, but firm. New Zealand white makes 74e, coloured 73s ; Canadian 675; English Cheddar 90s. . . Hemp: The market is <juiet, but steady. Spot New Zealand good fanmakes £22, fair £20 15s; fair to current Manila £22 10s, forward shipment about tho same. The output from Manila for the week was 27.000 bales. The Stock of New Zealand hemp is 233 tons. Hops: The market is strong.
