TO TURN OUT 50 RIFLES A DAY

The Lithgow factory has guaranteed to produce 50 rifles daily of the present War Office pattern with interchangeable parts. v
The representative of the machinery contractors stated that one rifle had been turned out in twenty-three oneman working hours, against 48 at Birmingham and 72 at Enfield.
