He made a large fortune •on the Stock Exchange, which he squandered and was threatened with bankruptcy. Tho bullet was extracted, and there is a slight hope- of his living. Ho inquired as to M. Tisza'e condition, and hearing that he was not injured said, "Novr I can die in peace. I shan't cross tho border a murderer."
