Tho air rao,o for the. "Daily Mail" trophy was over a, circuit of London, a distance of 81 miias. It started and finished at Hcndon. Seven aviators competed. Sopworth was first, covering tho distance in 84 minutes. He, however, was disqualified for passing a mile within J.!io mark at Purloy.Renco the gold cup and £250 were awarded to Hamel, whose time was 982 minutes.
