Tho .weather has been cold and .changeable generally, witli showers in parts, with moderate to strong southwesterly Minds. The barometer has risen iii the south, but has risen and is. falling again slightly in the north. Present indications are for strong •southerly winds generally. Cold and changeable weather is probable generally, with indications for fine weather following shortly, although the conditions are not yet settled either in tho northern or southernmost districts. The barometer will probably rise everywhere.
