At the Titanic, inquiry, during the examination of Mr Stewart, tho chief officer of tho Californian, Lord Mersey stated that ho was of opinion that tlw rockets seen by the Californian .wore from the Titanic.
Mr Groves, the third officer, admitted 'that he now believed they wore iiho Titanic's rockets.
