A CLERK ' FOUND DEAD

FeildSng, May 15. R. K. Bradbury, clerk to the Halcombo Town Board, was found dead last night in a paddock. He had a gunshot wound in tho abdomen. He was last seen alive in the morning, when ho was in possession of a double-barrelled gun. He had been much worried lately and it is supposed that he had lost his reason. Deceased fought through the Maori war and was in receipt of a military pension. He leaves a- wife and two grownup children.
