At tho adjourned inquest on the bodies of two Maoris who were- killed in a motor accident on Tuesday last, a verdict was returned that the deceased met their deaths through the driver (a Maori) attempting to negotiate' a corner at an excessi\ o speed while, more or less under tho influence of liquor.
