Fisher presiding. , The Hawke's Bay Association forwarded a copy of a letter from tho Hastings Club asking for information as to tho 1912 New Zealand championship proposed to bo played in Hawke's Bay. It was referred to a sub-committee consisting of the chairman and Mr Hurley. Tho quarterly tweeting of the council fjas been called for Thursday, May 30. Tho committee decided to adopt Ay-res' championship ball for the 1912 championship, subject to satisfactory arr:tng©ments being mado as to placing inK.len.t orders.
The Australasian Association advised that the Buckley Cup competition would Ixi hold at Sydney on August 3rd and sth next, and th;\t negotiations were still being earned on with the object of aouurmg a tour of Atistralasia by an English team. Melbourne has been selected as tho place- to be suggested to the challenging nations for pi:-i"viruc the cliaUe-ngo rounc^ of tho Davis Cup of 1912.
