Replying to the Marquis of Tulibardine, Unionist M.P. for Perthshire, Mr McKenna stated that Tom Mann was convicted years ago for diluting beer at a public house whereof lie was tho tonant. Asked whether he would order Mann'sr release he said that before considering the shorthand notes ho was unable to reply.

Mr Lansbury, Labour member for Bow, was refused leave to movo tho adjournment in connection with the M:'.m: debate.
