Extensive pillaging of cargo at the Sydney wharves continues, despite the greatest precautions. The best brands of tobacco and cigarettes, boots, and shoes, underwear, and liquors, receive particular attention. Since the middle of November one firm has lost £500 worth of tobacco and another £200 worth of boots.
