Sydney, May 9

Mr R. Semple, organiser for the New Zealand Federation of Labour, was interviewed, and he declared that he had spent three weeks visiting tho coal miners here, and had ascertained that the whole of the coal miners in New South Wales were prepared to fall into line with the New Zealand body. He added, "This means that one big union in Australasia will prevent 'scabbory. 5 " He had not yet^met with success in his interviews with the waterside workers.
