The press room employees of all the newspapers in Chicago have" struck in an endeavour, to prevent the publication of tho newspapers. The effort has, been partly successful, but the papers are appearing in a quarter the usual size. The men are now seeking a nation wide strike. . The chief dispute concerns wages. The newspapers were delivered under polic© guard.
