DRIFTING OFF MONTAGUE

Melbourne, May 9
Tlio briganti.no Carmen, from Sydney to Hobart, wheat laden, was drifting dismasted for some days off Montague Island, and asked for assistance. The captain previously refused an offer to take off the crew.
