ACCIDENT TO A FIRE BRIGADE MOTOR.

Wellington, May 6

While returning from a fire to-d-ay tho Fire Brigade's big motor car came to grief. The car was trying to negotiate a street corner, when the tyre of one of the front wheels came off. The car became unmanageable, and crashed into a tram pole. One fireman, of eight on the car, had his collarbone broken through being thrown against the chemical engine on top of the motor. Other firemen were thrown off, and were bruised. Tho car was considerably damaged.
