AVO!D OPERATIONS. Extract from London "Medical Magazine for May, 1.93 o:—i'These ferments, obtained froi** the papaw, are made up in .the form of r.n ointment and gargle, and are recommended as an application ;to enlarged glandular tissues, tumours and uloerations. The present preparation seems to combine the most active ferments of the plant in a successful manner. Its activity as demonstrated by several cases of hypertrophy of the turbinal bodies, and in cases of enlarged tonsiis. After three or four weeks' application there was very, very marked improvement. There can bo no doubt that tho-prepar-ation is unusually effective, and should prove vory serviceable, obviating the necessity for operative procedures in many cases. Such operative procedures are often adopted much too hastily. Tlio present ferments are well deserving of a trial, and in many cases we, have no doubt the result will he satisfactory." Papaw Ointment, 1/6 (for ulcers, tumours, goitre, and poisoned wounds) ; Papaw Papayate. 2/6 (for nasal catarrh) : Papaw .Tonic, 2/6 ; Papaw Pile Cure, 2s. 6c1.. "Wholesale: J. 17. Cock & Co., Ltd.
