ROYAL COMMISSION OF INQUIRY.

THE PERSONNEL ANNOUNCED

SIR JOSEPH WARD INCLUDED

London, April 3

In tho House of Commons, Mr L V. Harcourt (Colonial Secretary) announced that Baron In chafe would bo chairman of the Empire Trade Commission, the other British members being Sir E. Vincent, Sir C. Owens, Sir Itidor Haggard, Mr T. Garnett (Manchester, cotton spinner), and Mr W. Loumoi (Glasgow, railway and steel company director).

Mr G. E. Foster, Minister of Commerce, represents Canada; Mr Bowring represents Newfoundland; Sir David do Villters Graaf, South Africa; Sir Joseph Ward, New Zealand; and Mr I). Campbell, Australia.

Mr W. A. Robinson, of tho Colonial Office, will be secretary.

Mr H-urc-ourt said that ho hoped that the inquiry would be concluded beforo the next Imperial Conference.
