HAYWARD'S PICTURES.
Crowded houses greeted the new series at the Thoatro Royal at both performances last Saturday, the attraction being good. The racing picture ''Tho Cup Winner" depicted scenes in tho groat Australian racing carnival and the -Melbourne Cup, won by Parisian. This Melbourne Cup meeting was a memorable ono in many respects, there being quite 300,000 spectators, and the efforts uf that gamo New Zealand horse, Trafalgar, will live long in the annals of Australian racing. "Daniel Boono's Bravery" is a thrilling American backwoods drama. The comics include "Tiny Tom's Exploits,". "Miss Twigglos," "Ono on Reno," and "A Tale of a Violin." The topicals are "Tlie Gaumont Graphic" and "The King's Palace in Italy." At 'this performance about 120 Stoke Industrial School boys were entertained b.y the management and thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment.
