TN accordance with the provisions of -*- "The Education Act, "1908," and amendments thereto, it is hereby notified that meetings of Householders will bo hold in all the School Districts within the Education District of Nelson, at 8 p.m., on MONDAY, the 22nd day of ; April, 1812, for the election of . School ! Committees. | The meetings will be held in the principal school buildings in each district, except in the following places: Nelson, in the Provincial Hall; Hone, in the

Ranzau .School; "Brightwater, in the old Girls' School; CoHingwood, in the Institute. Where the- average attendance of any ~ school or schools under the Committee of a School District has not for the preceding school years exceeded twentylive children, the Householders are called upon to elect a committee of FIVE members; similarly where the average attendance has exceeded twenty-five and has not oxceeded two hundred, the householders shall elect :v committee of SEVEN members; and where the- average attendance has exceeded two hun- : dred the householders shall elect a committee of NINE members. Householders may send in writing to the chairman of tboir School Committee (or in cases whero there is no committee, to the Commissioner), to be delivered before 8 p.m. on MONDAY the 15th April, 1912, the names of persons, being resident householders, nominated by them to serve on the School Cominittee.;for the year next ensuing. Each such nomination must be signed by the person nominated ,and the proposer, and must bo in the form or to the effect of the ninth schedule to the above-named Act.
