Tewsloy presided <;«t :\ meeting he'd on Saturday evening to consider the question of making a nresentation to Sir Joseph Ward to mark appreciation of his work as Prime Minister in furthering the interests of N: -,v Zealand. It was suggested that an illuminated address bo presented to Sir Joseph at the. Town Hall on Wednesday next, but after some discussion it wat. decided to set np a committee with a view to making the proposed function more widely popular in character.
