TN accordance with tho provisions of - 1 "Tho Education Act, 1908," arid amendments thereto, it is hereby notified that meetings of Householders will be hold in all the School Districts within the Education District of Nelson, at 8 p.m., ou MONDAY, tho :22nd day of April, 1012, for the election of iScliool Committees. Tho meetings will be held in tho principal school buildings in each district, except in tho following places: Nolson, in the Provincial Hall; Hope, in the Ranzau School; Bright water, in tho old Gills' School; Collingwood, in the Institute. Where tho average attendance of any school or schools under the Committee of a School District has not for tho preceding school years exceeded twentylive children, tho Householders aro called upon to elect a committee of FIVE members; similarly where the average attendance has exceeded twenty-live and has not exceeded two hundred, tho householders shall elect a committee of SEVEN members; and where tho averago attendance has exceeded two hundred the householders shall elect a committee of NINE members. Householders may send in writinrr to the chairman of their School Committco (or in eases where there is no committee, to tho Commissioner), to bo do- | livered before 8 p.m. on MONDAY, tho 15th April, 191L'* tho names of persons, being resident householders, nominated by them to servo on tho School Committee for tho year next ensuing. Each such nomination must be signed by the person nominated and the proposer, and must bo in the form or to the effect of tho ninth schedule to tho above-named Act. Nominations may also ho made at tho meetings of householders as provided for in Section 113 of the Act.
