CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL FUND.
A muetins of the committee a".d subscribers to the above named fund was held., yesterday afternoon at the City Council Chamber, when Mrs. ('. Y. Foil presided.
Mr. >>'. V.'. Snodgrass, the .vre.'-o-tary stated th.> object of tho meethu>;. Mr. G. A. Edmonds, the treasurer, presented a statement of tJi-v i'liutl which showed thi> receipts to have been £3.53 15 3 lie!, and the e.xp-md-ituro £14 18s 9d. loaving a balniTV in the bank of £;I?,H 17s 2d.
It was resolved to hand over tl-.o amount of the fund- to the Hospital Board, on the condition that the amount, together with tho- Government subsidy accruing be ear-m:-.)-k;'d for the erection of a children's w:ml. It was resolved that Mescl.iu;c3 Allen, Bisley, T. Pet-tit, and Messrs. &. A. Edmonds and "\V. W. Snod;u-ass oo appointed an advisory committee to watch over the interests of the proposal.
