Tho Postmaster-General has been negotiating with the Union Company for some timo pctt with the object of securing a move equal integral between the rk^yatches of San Francisco and Vancoim-r mails from New Zealand. He now announces that, beginning with the despatches of the Manuka from Wellington on 29th March next, a time table of two services will br> so arranged as to give an Interval of a fortnight between a'.ternate despatches from ■Wellington and Auckland.
