THE WAKATERE SHOOTING INCIDENT.
Thames, Jan. 8. The boy Ron-lands, who was in- tho steamer Wakatere, still lies in an unconscious state in the Thames Hospital, with one side paralysed. Arthur Walding, who shot him, has been arrested in a state of mental anguish. It is feared that he may commit a rash act.
