The present preparation seems to combine the most activo ferments of the plant in a successful manner. Its activity was demonstrated by several cases of hypertrophy of the turbina] bodies, and in cases of enlarged tonsils. After three or fonr weeks' application them wan very, very marjeed improvement. There can be no doubt that;- the preparation is unusually effective, and should prove very serviceable, obviating the necessity for operative procedures in many cases. Such operative procedures are often adopted much too hastily. The. present ferments are well deserving of a trial,' and in many cases we have no doubt tho result will he'satisfactory."
