A QUEENSLAND MURDER

Brisbane, Jan 6. The man Jcnnor was charged at tho Police Court with tho murder of the girl Holzwait at Ipswich on December '23rd. The police gave evidence that Jenner had made a statement that the girl had promised to marry him, and that ho was afraid that someone else would marry her. He said that ho had cut her throat through jealousy, and declared that if ho could not get the girl here ho would get her on tho other side. The case is unfinished.
