An accident occurred on Fi idaj on a dangerous portion of tlio East Coast road, between Kahumingi and Bnimmerton (North Island). Two motor cars wero convoying a party from a wedding in Masterton, tiio back car containing the two Misses Speedy, a boy, and the driver. After passing Brammerton, a wool waggon was overtaken., and the driver of the second car, in attempting to pass, ran the wheels of the car into the v.atcrtablc. In trying to extricate himself, he drove the car l«.ck too far, and it fell over the bank, turning completely over. .The ladies were thrown clear and were not injured, but the boy and driver sustained somowhat serious injuries.
