AVOID OPERATIONS.
Extract from London "Medical Magazine" for May, 1910:— "These ferments, obtained from the p-ipaw, are made up in the form of an ointment and gargle, and are recommended as an application to enlarged glandular tissues, tumours and ulcerations. : Tho present preparation seems to combine the most active ferments of the plant in a successful manner. Its activity was demonstrated by several cases of hypertrophy of the turbinal bodies, and in cases of enlarged tonsils. After three cr four weeks' application there was very, very marked improvement. There can be no doubt tfiat the preparation is unusually effective, and should prove very serviceable, obviating the necessity for operative procedures in many cases. Seen operative procedures are often adopted much too hastily. The present ferments aro well deserving of a trial, and in many cases we have no doubt the result will bo satisfactory."
